July 11, 2010 - Stampede Reservoir is on fire right now for hard fighting Koke's.  Dave Dillard and his crew were on the water early and finished early with their limits of nice fat Kokanee to 17 inches.  The key is to find the right depth and keep working them over.  Check out the pics from today's action and get on board.

July 7, 2010 - Stripers and Salmon are on the agenda in just a few short weeks.  Typically (well at least for the past couple years) we have started focusing on Delta Stripers in the 2nd or 3rd week of August.  However this year we have another option..... That's right we will have Salmon to fish for!  July 31 opens the Salmon season on the Feather River.  From what our inside sources say there are lots of fish in the river to target.  Who know's what will eventually happen but rest assured if the Salmon aren't biting we have other options i.e. Delta Stripers.  Regardless of what or where it's gonna be good with all this water.  Check out some of the past years pics!  Contact me to book a trip with one of our guides!!

June 12, 2010 - What a strange striper season in the Delta.  If it wasn't big winds, it was big rains, big water, or big tides that slowed the trolling bite.  Don't get me wrong we did get our fair share but I wouldn't call it hot.  Further upriver around Colusa there were lots and lots of fish along with lots and lots of boats.  When the river conditions were good the bite was incredible.

May 24, 2010 - Cold and windy weather conditions didn't keep us off the water the last couple of days.  Headed to the Delta out of Vierra's for what seems like late season trolling and managed to run in to a few fish here and there.  It was by no means a hot bite but they still fell for the same old tricks in the same old spots we usually get em.  We even managed to land a nice 17lb female which was of course released.  All of the 20 or so fish landed in the last couple of days still had not spawned.   Who knows how much longer it will last.

May 9, 2010 - This past week the striper fishing busted wide open on the Sacramento River from Rio Vista to Colusa and all points in between.  Some of the best fishing of the year were the reports from up and down the river.  Book a trip now and experience this incredible action.

April 26, 2010 - Another set of big storms have really put a damper on what was becoming an epic striper season.  If you can find cleaner water there are plenty of fish in the system in all stages of spawning.  We were able to find a small window of clearish water this week and had some good success.

April 6, 2010  - Fishing in the Delta couldn't get any better for hooking big numbers of fish right now.  The tides are right, the wind isn't blowing and the fish are cooperating.  Now having said that you still got to find em....but once you do it's game on.  Today we had 5 rods trolling shallow Yozuri's and landed at least 30 fish.  We had a quadruple (first for my boat), 2 triples, and several doubles.  The fish were stacked up in a section of river about 200 yards long and we wore them out for about an hour and a half during a wide open bite.  Before and after that it was hard hunting.   Check out the pic and get ready!

March 28, 2010 - This week produced lots of fish.  One of our good friends boated over 35 while trolling in our secret spot.  Most of the fish are being caught on shallow running Yozuri's now as the water temperature is hitting the 60 degree mark in most spots of the river, and the fish are getting aggressive.  Earlier in the week the fishing was wide open but slowed with the coming of the full moon and bigger tides but we still managed to get limits of fish.  There are some larger fish to 25lbs being reported so remember to release those big hen's for making babies.

March 21, 2010 - Some better action this week and just a bit cleaner water.  Above the Rio Vista bridge the water is beginning to clear a bit.  We landed 12 or so fish today with 6 keepers to 10 lbs.  Should bust open any day.....

March 14, 2010 - It's gonna be here real soon!  Took a scouting mission today to check out the water conditions in the Delta and found better than expected conditions.  Considering we had over an inch of rain of Friday, big winds on Saturday the water out of Vierra's was surprisingly OK ish!  On the Old Sac the water was certainly fishable, on areas further south about low tide it got pretty ugly.  I'd say just another week of this awesome weather and we may have some serious striper action on our hands.  We managed to land a couple while trolling above the mouth of the Old Sac.  Check out the pics below and get your date booked.

March 1, 2010 -  Muddy water from top to bottom is just about all there is to say!

Feb 15, 2010 - Spent a couple of hours checking out the water conditions around the Mok yesterday.  I was pleasantly surprised that the water was actually a fishable color.  By next week barring any serious weather fishing should resume.  If sturgeon fishing is your thing now is the time to head up to the Colusa area where night fishing seems to be the ticket.

Jan 1, 2010 - Happy New Year to all...  Currently nearing the end of an unbelievable Waterfowl season so the boats been dry since Thanksgiving Day.  Fishing will resume February 1 for Delta Stripers.  Get ready for some outstanding Spring action like this...
